Don Bradman Cricket 14 Australian release date confirmed

Don Bradman Cricket 14 will be released in Australia on April 3, 2014, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, publisher Tru Blu Entertainment has announced.

Originally slated for release last year during the Australian summer, it was delayed indefinitely for additional development time.

"Don Bradman Cricket 14 will deliver the most realistic gameplay and promises to be the greatest cricket game of all time," said Managing Director,Sebastian Giompaolo. "The comprehensive 20 year career mode and plethora of features including access to community generated players and teams through the Cricket Academy that will provide endless hours of enjoyment of cricket both off and on the field".

Don Bradman Cricket 14 includes a full career mode beginning as a young player aspiring to play at international level.

It promises more realistic ball physics with improved batting controls and line and length bowling without pitch markers.

The Appeal and Electronic Review system allows players to challenge umpire decisions, based on the controversial DRS system we've seen come into question during the Ashes.

Online matches can be suspended and saved, so you can play full tests in multiple sessions.

The worst possible time to release it. Australia doesn't play another Test until October.

May as well have waited until then, or November really.

There's a little thing called the t20 World Cup that will be on though.

I like that you can 'suspend' and save online matches. that's pretty sweet.

DRS system ? so even the umpire in a game will get it wrong ?

But it's the backend of that, and considering this is targeting an Australian audience foremost, it seems like a crazy time.

Exactly like the AFL games always coming out in Grand Final week. Yeah there's a big event, but I feel like they have a 1 week sale period when it could be 7 months.

Infrequently I imagine. There's a manual appeal button too, so you can go for LBW's etc that you thought warranted one.
